Veyfo is the artistic persona of Vanessa Odom, a painter whose work explores power, aggression, and vulnerability within personal and systemic structures. The name Veyfo functions as a deliberate separation between artist and artwork, allowing the work to stand on its own while resisting the expectation of personal transparency. Through recurring motifs Veyfo examines dominance, resistance, and the emotional residue left by capitalist and patriarchal frameworks.

Vanessa Odom studied painting at the University of Central Florida, receiving her BFA in Studio Art in May 2025. In that time she developed a strong interest in installation, exhibition-making, and curatorial practice alongside studio work. Her educational and professional experiences include work in gallery and museum settings, with a focus on curation, collections, and exhibitions. Operating under the name Veyfo, Odom positions her practice as both a visual inquiry and a critical refusal, centering the work itself rather than the artist behind it.
